Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our team will welcome you and transfer you to a midrange lodge in Arusha. Settle in, relax, and enjoy the fresh air of northern Tanzania. Overnight stay in Arusha.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park (Tarangire NP)
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, home to majestic baobab trees, dense wildlife, and one of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania. Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. Overnight at a midrange lodge or tented camp.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park (Lake Manyara NP)
Head to Lake Manyara, a lush park famous for its birdlife, hippos, and tree-climbing lions. Explore the groundwater forest, lake shore, and open plains. After the game drive, continue to Karatu. Dinner and overnight at a comfortable midrange lodge.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Safari (Ngorongoro Crater)
Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a world-renowned wildlife sanctuary with a chance to spot black rhinos, lions, buffalo, and more. Enjoy a full game drive with picnic lunch. Return to Karatu for dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 5: Cultural Visit to Lake Eyasi & Fly to Zanzibar
Start early for a short cultural visit near Lake Eyasi, where you can interact with local communities and enjoy the scenery. Then transfer to Arusha Airport for your domestic flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to your beach hotel for a relaxing evening. Overnight on the coast.
Day 6: Relax on the Zanzibar Coast
Enjoy a full day at leisure on the white sands of Zanzibar. Swim in the warm Indian Ocean, sunbathe, or simply unwind at your beach resort. Optional water sports and spa services are available.
Day 7: Explore Zanzibar – Optional Tours
Today, you can join optional excursions such as a Stone Town historical tour, a Spice Plantation tour, or visit Prison Island. Alternatively, relax at your resort. Overnight at the beach hotel.
Day 8: Full Beach Leisure Day
Spend your final full day enjoying the beach, taking long walks, or indulging in seafood and local culture. Soak in the last moments of your tropical escape. Overnight at your resort.
Day 9: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward flight. Your 9-day bush to beach adventure concludes.
