Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park (Tarangire NP)
Depart Arusha after breakfast and head to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobabs, and rich wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at a midrange lodge or tented camp.
Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park (Lake Manyara NP)
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and groundwater forest. After a game drive and lunch, proceed to Karatu for overnight at a comfortable midrange lodge.
Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park (Serengeti NP)
After breakfast, travel toward Serengeti National Park, enjoying scenic views of the Ngorongoro highlands along the way. Enter the park in the afternoon and enjoy game viewing en route to your camp. Dinner and overnight at a midrange lodge or camp in central Serengeti.
Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti (Serengeti NP)
Spend the entire day exploring the central Serengeti, where you may encounter big cats, elephants, buffalos, and possibly the Great Migration depending on the season. Morning and afternoon game drives with picnic lunch. Overnight at the same midrange lodge or tented camp.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Ngorongoro CA)
Enjoy an early game drive before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with optional stops at Olduvai Gorge or a Maasai village. Arrive at the crater rim for dinner and overnight at a midrange lodge with views of the crater.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Return to Arusha (Ngorongoro Crater)
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive in this wildlife-rich caldera, home to rhinos, lions, hippos, and more. After lunch, drive back to Arusha where the safari concludes.
