Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Begin your safari with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, home to massive elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. Later, transfer to your midrange lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, driving through the Ngorongoro Highlands with game viewing en route. Arrive in the afternoon and explore the central Serengeti plains. Overnight at a midrange tented camp or lodge.
Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti
Spend the day exploring Serengeti’s endless plains, searching for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and possibly the Great Migration, depending on the season. Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives. Overnight at the same midrange camp or lodge.
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive toward Ngorongoro, stopping at Maasai villages or Olduvai Gorge (optional). Arrive at your lodge near the crater rim for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Return to Arusha
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a half-day safari in one of the world’s most concentrated wildlife areas. After lunch, drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your 5-day safari.
